Frankie Moreno Live at Stratosphere Moves to 8pm on Wednesday Nights

Friday and Saturday performances will remain at 8pm

December 6, 2011- Las Vegas, NV – You asked. Frankie delivers.

As of Wednesday, December 7, Frankie Moreno Live at Stratosphere will begin at 8pm on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. The Wednesday night performance featuring Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower headliner and master pianist Frankie Moreno with his band previously started at 11pm.

Singer and Songwriter Frankie Moreno debuted as the headline act at Stratosphere Theater Wednesday, November 9, 2011 to rave reviews from critics and fans alike for his musical talent, swagger and showmanship. Moreno performs three nights a week at the Stratosphere, with the Wednesday night show primarily geared at Las Vegas locals. Fellow entertainers and celebrities are often spotted at his performances.

“The welcome my band and I have received at the Stratosphere is absolutely amazing,” said Moreno.

Frankie Moreno Live at Stratosphere features classic covers and original music written by Moreno and his brothers, like Tangerine Honey, Hangin’ On A Maybe and Moonlight Matinee. Every song is performed live by Moreno’s 10-piece band, which features horns, strings, guitars, drums and Moreno dazzling the crowd on piano, guitar and even the harmonica.

“This is the kind of live show that made Las Vegas showrooms famous,” said Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower General Manager Paul Hobson. “By the end of the night, the audience is out of their seats and Frankie is on top of the piano, playing backwards.”

Born in Santa Cruz, California, Moreno’s career trajectory started upward at the age of 11 when the classically trained pianist landed a spot next to Ed McMahon on “Star Search”. That upward path has continued for the singer/musician. Moreno is currently working on an album with Sony Masterworks and collaborated on the “Eleanor Rigby” track with world-renowned violinist Joshua Bell on his best selling debut album, At Home With Friends, that reached #1 on the Billboard Charts in two categories.

Moreno’s 10-piece band performs three nights a week in the Stratosphere Theater. The Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night shows begin at 8pm. Tickets are $29.99, plus tax. Las Vegas locals and Stratosphere hotel guests can see the show for only $19.99, plus tax. VIP seats are available for an additional $10. For ticket information, please call 800-99-TOWER (998-6937). The show is for adults 21 and older.
